Are you eligible for the Covid-19 Vaccine?

The CDC recommends that everyone over the age of 12 is vaccinated immediately to prevent the rapid spread of the Corona Virus. 

Pedi Center is currently administering the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine (the only approved vaccine for children under 18).

Call 661-410-9500 to reserve a time slot, as vaccinations are by appointment only.

While getting vaccinated is a win-win situation for all of us in Kern county, did you know that getting vaccinated today could earn you a reward!

RAPID COVID-19 TESTING AVAILABLE

The Pedi Center provides Rapid Covid-19 testing, getting you quick results and vaccinations are now available. If you suspect your child or family members have been exposed to the corona virus, please call the office prior to arrival. 

Avoid close contact

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Put distance between yourself and other people.
  • Remember that some people without symptoms may be able to spread virus.
  • Keeping distance from others is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.

Everyone Should Wash Their Hands Often

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
